This funny and nostalgic comedy follows Ralphie (Peter Billingsley), a little boy growing up in the 1940s, who wants nothing but an official Red Ryder BB carbine-action 200-shot range model BB rifle for Christmas. He can’t wait to get his rifle. When he asks his mother for the rifle for Christmas, his mother says no because he’ll shoot his eye out. Now Ralphie has to do whatever it takes to convince everybody, including Santa himself, that a Red Ryder BB gun is the perfect gift for Christmas. Also starring Melinda Dillon and Darren McGavin.
